Normandy Farms is one of the top wedding venues in the Philadelphia area and we had a perfect day for this 5:30 wedding. The temperature reached almost 60 degrees with full sunshine, wonderful for mid-November.

The first-look is becoming more popular because it’s a nice opportunity to take some pictures. You still get the candid reactions and it can allow us to take all the group pictures before the wedding. This is particularly important when using outdoors locations.
We also had the opportunity to do couple portraits outside at this gorgeous venue.
And, of course, you’ll want those bridal party shots in your album.
Three of these beautiful women were sisters but all 4 of them had a splendidly tight bond. That’s just fantastic, don’t you think!? And the bride did a great job putting these colors together, even the roof colors of the venue blend in.
The bride was pleased to show off her beautifully detailed tiara. And look how the fall foliage works again with the colors in the bouquet.
These were a lively group of people and we photographers never tire of getting one bride and groom portrait. Its great when the bridal party is free during a sunset, as we had here, with some beautiful golden light at that time of day.
We loved the exuberance and animation of the bride and her evident enjoyment of the day.
Oh, and they served a cocktail hour while we shooting group pictures outside. It made for a nice flow, then the wedding and then the dinner and reception.
Bride and dad were beaming walking down the isle and I always like getting a low shot from the back as they approach the alter. But a higher shot from atop a stepstool is also nice with a wider angle of view.

And what a grand finale to the ceremony with the groom stepping up the enthusiasm and showed how thrilled he was to be married to his lovely bride.
